This village has fallen on hard times with the major factor being the loss of a sustainable water source for agriculture. This was mainly due to Illegal irrigation outside of the village. As a direct result of this around 60 Families have left the village moving on to find new homes. Unemployment is high due to the limited opportunities available. Therefore our team in the area decided to procure and arrange delivery and re-supply of 6 x 4000Lt tanks to the village to provide a viable water source for the local villagers. With the local Mayor and Sheikh’s approval we were able to arrange re-supply of the water tanks and also kick-start an investigation into the illegal interdiction of the water supply.
