Pet Therapy Comes to Ibn Sina

Since March 09, Aegis Defence Services working dogs have been used as part of a ‘Pet Therapy’ programme in Ibn Sina Hopsital, Baghdad.

This article describes how this exciting initiative came about, what exactly ‘pet therapy’ is, but more importantly it highlights the positive results that this scheme is having on the patients. In collaboration with this project, the Aegis Foundation have donated toys and books to the Iraqi children who are patients in the Ibn Sina Hospital.
