Operation Shoe

Something as basic and simple as a pair of shoes is a luxury that many people in Iraq simply cannot afford. Clarks Shoes generously donated a thousand pairs of children’s shoes to Aegis to distribute to the children in Basra province. The children in these photographs attend a mixed faith school run by Father Imad. Father Imad has dedicated his life to bringing disadvantaged children from different faiths together. Small donations such as these can go a long way towards winning hearts and minds – a vital tool in enabling reconstruction.
